Despite all the bemoaning and bleating Salford look to have a pretty decent 17 out!

Were things really that bad or was it a bit of a publicity stunt?

It must be something in the water in Hull. A totally gutless start from both Hull teams.

If hull can't beat salford then Redford must be sacked.

That Salford team looks fine to me besides the lack of a half back alongside Fages. Certainly good enough to beat Hull.

As of Wednesday we only had 12 players in training including the 3 suspended players. Half of our squad out there today were just making up numbers and wouldn't have played had other players been avaliable.

Good effort from a Salford side with a second rower at half back and another second rower at hooker.

Presumably because he wasn't fit enough for the full 80 mins, which is kind of the point.

Probably still should've won being 8 points up with 20 mins left but closing games out is not one of our strengths.

Hull had Westerman, Paea, shaul, Ellis, green and Bowden out. The first 4 maybe our best players, so while they had more out, it wasn't as bad as the club were making out. Still a good effort from salford though.

True however I think the reason Salford have made such a noise about this is the fact we have been missing all our starting players from position 3 through to the number 9 position.

The request for a postponement was unnesscary but we have just been pretty unfortunate in the areas where our injuries have fallen. Throw in a couple of bans to the first choice 2nd row forwards (our own fault) and its virtually a new side.
