Escare is a good full back with the ball in hand, defensively can be liable to make some real big errors.
Having played around 250+ games over 13 years in the NRL and still in great form Matty Bowen is very obviously the best fb, I think others are better than Escare.

The problem with using stats, is they are not all equal. Just as an example, there's no stats which shows some of the outrageous try saving tackles hardaker has pulled off this year.

A player could be put into a gaping hole and pass to a supporting player to be under the sticks.

Another player could beat 2 men then get an unbelievable ball out the back door to the winger who's in at the corner.

But both would show up as the same try assist in the stats. They just aren't a complete reflection. Then can give partial guidance, but you have to judge a player by what you physically see them do on the field week in week out, and not just what the numbers tell you.

How would Morgan get on in front of a hostile Wheldon Road crowd on a cold wet Sunday afternoon? Not very well. Add Hanbury to the list of better fullback+ the ones already mentioned.

Escare is a quality little player who is good to watch. Never understood why Catalans brought in Webb. I know he needs to work on some areas but he is good to watch.

Morgan Escare just scored two more tries yesterday against Bradford (including a length of the field). So it will be interesting to see his standing in the Opta rankings next week.
