| Woods, Nobby, RHP, Tanya Arnold and Mark Chapman anchoring today were absolutely outstanding I think, fair play to the Beeb, hope theyre the WC team and the team for the final.
Great work. Take note Sky.

At least Sky turn up with more than two fixed-camera positions and a random bloke with a HandyCam

| Today's team are a reasonable set of pundits, infinitely better than French/Davies at any rate.

| I do much prefer the beeb's coverage overall but RHP is an embarrassment. He comes across as a bumbling halfwit who is forever tripping up over his words. Not a great advert for the sport if you ask me. Big Eorl, on the other hand, was fantastic. Give that man a job.

| The punditry today was by far and away so much better than Sky's tired old format. How refreshing to hear a commentator who could actually commentate on the game without feeling the need to try and start an argument, nor struggling to get a word in edgeways because of the umpteen co-commentators.

Correct. And no: "we're so funny, our little contrived disagreements are just so amusing, everyone out there must love our banter".

| The best thing about BBCs coverage is that they're able to get current players involved in the broadcast team, whereas Sky don't. We get stuck with people who were playing 20+ years ago and don't realise how the game has changed.

| I like Chapman, afaik he doesn't have a rugby league background but like with Clair Balding he seems to have really taken to the game and speaks with real enthusiasm about it.

To be fair he's a great presenter and is pretty much a household name (again, like Balding). The two must do wonders for RL's image during their albeit limited airtime.

He used to do Rugby League Raw when the BBC had it a few years ago.

Didn't know that, just that he doesn't come across as being particularly knowledgeable but makes up for it with his enthusiasm and skill as a presenter. Regardless he is still a good guy to have involved. Shame Sky can't find someone similar.

| Glad this was brought up. Dactyl my tweet earlier and opinion. The coverage was excellent and "exciting". Not something I think of sky's commentary skills.
