Seems to have gone quiet since last years announcement that it wouldn't be Stobart.

the RFL are busy tying up a unique deal where the RFL pays the sponsor to have their logo displayed, its a world first  |

Maybe RLFANS could do it? I know the owners are aiming for a second private villa complex in the Bahamas from the ad revenue from this site this year, but perhaps they could spare a couple of hundred grand to support the sport? After all, you could do with just the one private island, at least for a year?

I am really surprised a mobile phone provider isn't interested. Good demographics for their customer base, inexpensive in comparison to the broad reach they will receive and as sponsorship is all about brand recognition over your competitor I would have though SL would have been an ideal vehicle in the competitive phone market. You could probably sponsor whole of SL for less than one epl team! They could then also link up with the online content market for RL like the Telstra deal in oz.
