| Tomkins has been very average during the second half of the season. When was the last time he actually played well?
Club of the year being Wigan is pretty hilarious as well given Warrington are about to claim the double.

| I believe the club of the year has takes in all sorts of criteria inc youth development etc not just a case of who has won the most pots, although finishing top of the regular rounds will no doubt of been a tick in a box.

"Super League @RLSuperLeague
For those asking, Club of the Year isn't just for on-field performance. Youth dev, community work etc counts & winner chosen by peer clubs "

I wish I'd been there to see your bitter face when you read that one. FWIW I believe the club of thee year is as much to do with community work and RL development as it is on field performance.

| Can't argue with that. Head and shoulders above the rest of the league in terms of talent.

Aye, because Club of the Year is awarded purely on first team results.
Well done Sam, the ultimate accolade to be voted as the best by your peers. Makes it even better that so many are spitting their dummies over it.
Must admit I'm a little surprised though. I reckoned it was going to Westwood but perhaps the opposition got fed up of him taking their heads off every 5 minutes. One-trick Roby was definitely the outsider.

| Cant argue with any of the awards given, by far the correct decisions regardless of allegiance.

| Good choices for the main awards all round, I think.
Would have liked to see Bateman get Young Player, and in other years he may well have done, but Hardaker is pretty exceptional and a deserved winner IMO.
I thought Westwood would edge it for MOS, and would have voted for him despite not liking him very much. But quite happy with Tomkins - depends if (like me) you think MOS means more a real hard bugger, or instead means a really skillful one (still hard, mind...). I often wish there could be two "MOS" awards, for that reason.
Doubt you will surprised that I can only express violent agreement with the COTY choice. No-brainer IMO, although had it not been him then at risk of severe derision I will say my next choice would have been Agar.
