I think what the tweet is saying is that the RFL won't comment on this deal, but have confirmed Alibert will be running in the fastest man comp. at the nines on Tuesday.
He tweeted earlier that they were covering the boards, so if Elonex haven't paid up on time this might just prove they're serious about removing the boards?

I would assume that the advertisers are paying Elonex to be on the boards, rather than paying the RFL directly. Elonex will then pay the RFL a fee for advertising services.
If Elonex haven't paid, then the advertisers shouldn't be getting free advertising at RL games. The onus will be on the advertising companies to put pressure on Elonex to pay the RFL - and the situation will all be sorted out soon. |
