I think it should. But we've been through this over and over and nobody will agree.
I think if there was a big sponsor and therefore prize money for the players they would want to play in it a lot more.

the problem is that fans to the West of the Pennines do not feel any real association to "Lancashire" as an entity. For a start there are no clubs in Lancashire, and most fans do not live in Lancashire.
Fans from clubs to the East of the Pennines sing "yarrrrkshire yarrkshire" at club games - fans of Wigan, Saints, Warrington tend to laugh at them for doing so.
