| Introduce it now for implementation from 2014.
Fev have shown, as Leigh did v Cats last year, that they could be as good if not better than the Salfords, Cas, Wakey, Widnes's of SL. Just as these clubs have shown they are not a Leeds, Wire, Wigan or saints.
Increase intensity at the top whilst expanding the game and including the ambitious heartlands and French clubs.
Make the call now RFL/SL and let the game flourish.

| Only for those blinded by ignorance.
Winning Ashes and World Cups, seeing SL1 with 15000 average gates the norm every week due to the product on show, RL fans of non SL clubs given hope and getting behind the governing body again, the SL contract reflecting the profile and audience of the game, new areas wanting to be a part of this new high profile high intensity 'sexy' sport - the worlds our oyster embrace the opportunities, rid yourselves of the lies spouted from the fools at the top for many years, take ownership and be proud of what we will achieve together.

| My biggest problem with two 10-team leagues is the fact that the second tier will be 6 relatively poor championship sides mixed with the 4 worst super league teams. I don't see how this would be an improvement on the current set up.

Indeed, its a total none-starter, it will just be the championship under a different name and bring down the standard of 4 current clubs.
There isnt going to be some massive upsurge in interest in the game because Wakefield play in the same league as Leigh.

| I'd still go 12 teams, 5 team playoff.

| Check out Conferences as in the NFL. One league of 10 should be equal to the other league of ten. They play each of their same conference twice and the teams from the other conference once. Playoff, top four in each conference and winners of each conference play each other in grand final. Conferences should be set up on roughly geographical criteria so all the big derby games are preserved.

| Agreed - we need intensity at the top level of the domestic game, and our best players having to play well every week is the only way we can bridge the gap at international level, the alternative is to let them go down under to find that intensity. Bigger, better teams playing more often will increase crowds and TV audiences and hopefully we can get a paying sponsor! Without promotion, interest in the championships is falling and if the foundations crumble away that isn't good for the game as a whole.
Clubs like Sheffield are better managed than super league clubs and teams like Featherstone are better on the field than super league clubs, they deserve a slice of the income the game generates and a chance to take an even bigger slice

I certainly agree with this. And what were the old Yorkshire and Lancashire Leagues if not conferences by another name - with inter-conference games based on league position the previous season. Don't get me wrong I'm not saying we should go back to county leagues, but we should certainly look at that system. What any sport needs in order to progress is dynamism. Preserving the status quo which is what the current Super League system is all about it a recipe for eventual extinction.

| Ten team Super League. Scrap Challenge Cup. Abolish rest of teams. That way you'll have a really concentrated set of quality clubs - proper tasty like a concentrated condensed tin of soup. More money to share between those clubs also. Got to look after the quality instead of the dross.
I just cannot be doing with games like that last night.

| If Leigh or Halifax go on to get spanked 82-0 in the next round, will we have a post saying 'Now is the time to stick to franchising'? I doubt it - the flatcappers would then use that as proof that P and R should be brought back too.

Hmmm. Yes. How about stopping flat cappers from going through the turnstiles? Strict interrogation at the gates to weed out this scum.

| 12 team SL and 5 team playoff, which has already been mentioned. 8 of 14 just makes no sense and devalues the entire playoff concept.

| I think it should just be a six team league.
Leeds, Wigan, Saints, Warrington, Hull FC & Catalan.
Play each other four times, no salary cap restrictions, keep all the Sky monies & enter the C.C at the Q.F stage.
Would make quite a few on here so happy, oh & Jamie Peacock.

| That won't work. Remember, London have to be in otherwise Sky will pull the plug. Drop Hull. The place stinks of fish.
