Awesome effort from all concerned. I don't know how the takings are split but that should be about £300k minus costs and Leeds' share (do they get one?) - surely they've hit the £500k.

The threat of dropping out the league has clearly brought out the fans for that big crowd. It could be like this every week if they had promotion and relegation! It's that damn franchising again!

No. Apparently a large number of fans suggested that they [iwould[/i pay for entry instead of using their tickets, but because of ground and ticket regulations (and the final announced attendance) it would have been a logistical nightmare for Bradford, not withstanding the fact that it would (I think) have landed them with an even bigger tax bill to pay further down the line - so instead of making the game uneligible for ST holders, they put collection buckets by the turnstiles. |

Many members offered to pay but it's unfair to make it mandatory so for that reason, and turnstile reconciliation and stadium attendance/capacity reasons they set up collection points. Members could also make a payment online.
Either way they should have made enough to reach £500k. |
