It was a ridiculous decision to give Saints a penalty in the first place. He hadn't blown the whistle for a knock-on. Elima is entitled to go into that tackle. I believe he was penalised for "running in aggressively".
It was also a ridiculous decision to give the 8 point try. Foster is entitled to try and kick a loose ball.

He is entitled to try, but if he does so in a manner that causes him to connect with someone's face then he has acted carelessly and has committed a foul, imo. I'd also add that "loose" is a contentious term in this context. |

Whitehead had the ball in is hands, split second and no malice from what i saw but its the correct call. |

I'm not that interested in helping Saints...  
It helped no more than the recent Moa/Lee decisions helped the teams they were playing against. There might be a case to answer for Foster's boot, too. I'd expect that one to end sin bin sufficient, though. |

There was no malice in it at all though, he was clearly trying to clear the ball. A lot of people may not like Foster but he is not that type of player. Careless yes, malicious no. A talking to would have been sufficient. |
