Superb gesture to agree to a release and free up his money to be spent on a replacement. I realise the money concerned will be buttons compared to what he has earned throughout his career but it still sums up the mans character.

Shame this. A solid big-hearted player. We didn't see the best of him at Leeds but always a player I admired and great that he's not draining Dewsbury of cash while he attempts recovery.
Hope he has a good 'plan b' for his rugby retirement.

He writes a article in RLE. Never particulary liked him as a player but fair play to him regarding not taking the money from dewsbury. |
