It seems that it came to a halt sometime in 2005. The whole point of The RLSA was to:

- Democratically represent the views of those who support the game of Rugby League
- To campaign for supporters' opinions to be heard at all levels in the game
- To encourage friendship between supporters of all clubs and countries
- To seek to work for the promotion and expansion of Rugby League.

Today we have a whole new generation of supporters who want to do just that and what a great place to do it on from the most popular rugby league website in the world. I do hope that this thread will lead to the eventual revival of this organisation. You only have to look at Bullbuilder to see how this could work in 2011.

Anyhow I do think that a re-launched version RLSA media presence would certainly encourage a better rugby league future all around.

Anyhow it’s not my place to re-launch. People put a lot of time into the RLSA back in the day and I’m not sure if whoever has been left in change would want a group of upstarts from the forum to make it alive once again otherwise it wouldn’t be in the neglected state that it’s in. It would have been passed on to someone to sort it out.

I’m not even suggesting that I do it although I would like to. But at least someone should bring it back to its former glory.
