| If the NRL expands in the next 3 or so years and these new club(s) bring back a whole heap of players from the ESL, what effect will that have in the Super league?
Do the clubs have the youngsters coming through, or will they have to pay higher wages than what they do now?
What's the impact likely to be in Europe?

| It shouldnt be a problem, i've heard loads of quality players are being produced in Wales and London, in a couple of years SL is going to be chock-a-block with players from expansion areas

English clubs do produce their own talent you know, would probably help us in the long run as we would have chance to develop our best players rather than have to throw them on the scrapheap for some overpaid aussie.

I know that
Exactly, I think that it would make English RL as a whole much, much stronger. The so-called "smaller" clubs from SL such as my team Cas would probably benefit, but Hull KR would struggle imo who haven't got that many English players coming through.

| the standard will drop no doubt.
The NRL salary cap is also being increased in accordance with the new TV deal, so top aussies will go home, average aussies will fill the expansion clubs and the cream of British talent will be picked off by the NRL. The exchange rate also harms English clubs trying lure the best aussies.

Instead of trying to emulate your game we may try something that will actually change the balance of power .
Maybe genetic modifications, as a last hope .
It will be a poorer competition if your 2nd / 3rd string players go home.
