What will it be in your eyes? I think that England will have to do alot of work together throughout the season to win this as their is going to be some quality in this side?
If age isnt in the question and players make themselves available to play, we could see a team that includes: Brett Hodgson, Pat Richards, Thomas Leuluai, Willie Mason, Danny Buderus and many more house hold names!

I am thoroughly disgusted that this idea seems to be going through. This is what happens when idiots like Steve McNamara are put into positions of power. Hopefully it is scrapped ASAP.

What would happen to the credibility of the England team if the All Stars beat them? I dont think it should be played against England. Like the idea though. |

I do. Maybe if the England side play more games against credible opposition then we won't be faced with the sort of results and performances that always happen against the big guns of Australia and New Zealand. |

I can see where your coming from. This will only increase the gap between the top three international teams and the rest and wish there was another solution.
However, attendances for the game against France aren't that great and the standard of the French team is no real test for the England side. I cans see this countering both those factors against the French. |

This is so typical of RL. I wouldn't blame France for jacking it off and going to play Union. At least they know how to treat their lesser nations.

Completely agree. Maybe play a game against these 'overseas all stars' and treat them like the RU Barbarians in addition to internationals, but it's lunacy to decimate an already skinny international schedule. |
