I like Eddie and Stevo. The passion they have for the game is evident in their commentary. People like Dave Woods just send me to sleep. Brian Carney is terrible in any other role than that of pitchside reporter because he gets his words mixed up too much or stutters if he has to talk too much. I have a lot of time for Phil Clarke too. In years gone by he used to be so pro wigan it was cringeworthy, but now he is very impartial, even calling Saints the best team in the league last night

Fair play to the Hudds fans that have turned up, but i dont feel that the town of Huddersfield deserves such a good RL team.

I feel sorry for the Giants club, its not like they have not tried to get the fans in. Its the public just are not interested.

commentry is part of the game and if you mute you miss all the atmosphere of the game so why should you have to mute it we pay good money to watch the games on sky so we demand better commentry

Sweet Jesus please not O'Connor. He makes Eddie & Stevo look amazing in comparison. Half the time he can't speak clearly, the other half he's talking twaddle. Perfect example in today's game, before half time he was saying Crusaders need to do something different to break down Huddersfield's defence. Just after half time he was saying Crusaders need to go back to what they were doing before half time. Terry O'Connor is the biggest embarrassment out of them all in Sky's RL coverage.

Phil Clarke - keep as summariser/3rd commentator which he's usually pretty good at. But if he's promoted to a main commentator his bias will emerge fairly quickly.

Barrie Mac - same as Phil Clarke as he has a tendancy to go on and on and on about props and biff and nothing else.

Carney - best of the bunch.

Sorry but i think your wrong, the other have there faults but Eddie and Steve are really poor, watching Stevo say "its a try , ill put my house on it" when they clearly drop the ball , almost like hes hoping the video ref can hear the game and hes trying to influence the decision . Joe Lydon was also a very good bbc commentator , theres also the GMR radio commentators who are miles ahead. The first day rugby league went onto sky and they had Eddie and stevo I thought to myself where on earth did they find these 2 pricks, hoping they would grow on me, but it hasnt happened.

Why not replace Eddie with another ex Wigan player and then we can have a totally unbiased sky team!!!
