I know you're not going to know for definite what your average Championship 1 player is on but some must have an educated guess or know of players and their rumoured wages.

Also after Blackpool broke the salary cap regulations has anybody got the full salary cap that is in place in the league?

£150K maximum, for 17 players in 20 CC1 games + NRC games + play-offs. Probably works out around £400 for a win being pretty decent wages for a CC1 player.

Just trying to put a ballpark figure to players wages. Clearly most CC1 clubs don't pay that much.

The maximum cap is £150k or 40% of income. To spend the maximum you'd need to have turnover of £375k. I imagine there's a fair few clubs in CC1 who don't get anywhere near that turnover level and so are way below the absolute cap.

e.g. how much do you reckon London Skolars turnover ? Gate receipts probably add up to about £40k for the season and other income such as sponsorship and bars may take them to about £100k, in which case their cap is only £40k for the season.

check companies house and you can see Skolars turnover much higher than that. not bad considering they dont own the ground
