What is the greatest try you have ever seen.
For me it is Chris Joynt's try for Saints at Knowsley road in the play-offs in 2000.

Jonathan Davies for Great Britain against Australia in 1994 at Wembley.
I was my first game at Wembley.
IIRC he shot past Steve Renouf through a gap in the line and rounded Brett Mullins to go in at the corner.
I think Shaun Edwards got sent off in first couple of minutes or so and we still won the game 16-9.

Your memory is obviously pretty hazy !
The score in that game was 8-4, not 16-9. Edwards was sent off in the 25th minute.
As for the best try - Mark Coyne's effort in the last second of SOO game 1 in 1994 for Queensland takes some beating. |

I was very young at the time.
It was the height of Cougarmania and the club arranged with the RFL for 1000 local school kids to get down to the game for a fiver. It was a brilliant day out capped with Davies scoring that try in the corner we were all sat in. |
