Impressed with the steepness of the terracing which will mean you will be right on top of the action and will create a great atmposphere. i can see them getting to 20k+ within the next few years and that will financially secure them and get them off News Ltd's teat.

I didn't really follow this much TBH. I thought Melbourne once again posted a big debt this season, being bailed out by News again.

Wow, I'm really impressed. Went down to Olympic Park to watch the Raiders a few seasons back, the ground was in worse repair than Warringtons old ground Wilderspool, though don't recall what was on the piece of land they're now building on.

No one knows how much they make or lose as they do not release accounts. There have been various guesses by insecure small club fans ranging from Dallys 2-3 million to some who think news are propping them up by $20mill! News are investing in them as they know it will lead to more pay TV viewers. No different than an investment by a Leagues club or a rich backer. Reality is if News stopped backing them they would just cut their cloth accordingly.

This stadium along with the jnr teams, NSW cup team and push at schools level in Vic will be the final pieces in the jigsaw. The amateur scene is taking off and in the next decade we will see a number of born and bred Victorians turn out in the NRL.

The fact more people in Vic tuned into the GF than in Q'land should give you an idea of the true value of teh Storm to the NRL!
