You can watch the interview on the England RL wesbsite. That bit is in the middle of awards night interviews and Thurston just comes across as a thick idiot to be honest. He keeps grinning and sing like a mentalist.

I just hope the likes of Eastmond, Tomkins and Hall make sure they know who they are after Saturday night.

Always admired Thurston as a player, but with his whingeing, moaning and generally carrying on like a big girl's blouse against England he let himself down.

Saw the interview. I wonder how well he did at school?

Perhaps Tomkins can rub him up the wrong way and get under his skin with a bit of niggle.

I thought Thurston was lucky not to have been binned earlier, Ganson isnt usually so backward in reaching to his pocket for that offence.

I don't know about that really.

He's been binned once for agreeing with Ganson against Quins and Ganson getting the wrong end of the stick but besides that he's not been too bad.

He seems to get under lot of peoples skins which this weekend can only be a good thing.

Too right, so he should be pretty damn good at winding him up. Im sure a little sledging should get under his skin.

If Thurston Bites, Job done!

Perhaps Jamie Peacocck could keep him occupied with a bit of banter, but as he is one of our better players perhaps we should bring in Richard Moore for the final to chew the fat - ifyouknowworramean.

I hate thurtson with a passion, but that sin bin was just an example of why Ganson shouldnt be let on paddock with a whistle.

Why?

Thurston was constantly talking back at every decision, any other player would have been walked long before then.

If Thurston cant accept the decisions (and till then he had also been a dirty, spoiling, typical cheat) then he shouldnt be on the park.

I am not Gansons greatest fan, far from it, but he is a better choice than the Aussie ref. Hell, Terry Albert is a better choice than the Aussie ref, at least if he makes a bad call I can just put it down to him not being good enough, rather than outright cheating from the biased ref.
