| Isn't it the best  
I've seen the good, the bad and the ugly watching Fev, but tonight summed what Rugby is all about, for the second week on the trot we've got to a team were we've not won in years and beaten them.
Who needs Super League, Championship & Championship 1, quite easily the best leagues in English RL.
You can stick Super League up your botty!

| Wot you mean the almighty "we have been badly done to", "the RFL owes us everrything" Widnes team are out 
Hmmm.
It really does put their NRC win in perspective.
Loanees abound and when they went, so did Widnes.
It concerns me that all clubs in the championship / 1 would do something like this for a quick fix.
Anyway putting winding up Widnes "fans" aside, they have had a good season and probably will go better next season and improve the team ready for a tilt at SL.
They have the infrastucture in place, just need the players.
As for Fev.
Absolutely brilliant., Very well done.
Hope they make it through to the final and possibly win it.
Sadly though, Even if they did, unless they get a Des Johnson and WMBC to ignore Cas and Wakey, they are going to be left out in the cold regarding assistance to apply for SL.
The next two seasons will sort out all the competitions and then the RFL may see what a curates egg they have created.
Playing the game to them is only a minor part of the overall business, which is sad because to me, and I would suggest most others, playing the game and the results is exactly what RL is about and not really about plastic seats, etc. |

Widnes really have taken their eye off the ball since winning the cup. The more "points" they have (Championship final appearances and NRC wins) the less competition they have from other teams come license time.
