Anyone agree with this??? I dont think its right to tell a club that they should move their game away from their own ground. Never been to Kogarah before but heard its a great atmosphere and good ground. Why should a club have to give up home ground advantage and be deemed selfish because they dont move it to a bigger neutral venue.
Or should all clubs be looking at the bigger picture, even if that means moving games around to suit demand????

| Stuff like this really p!$$es me off.
Seem to remember the Tigers being given the same grief a couple of years ago for not moving their end of season game with Souths from Leichardt to the souless hole that is ANZ Stadium.
Its the clubs choice and the NRL and the press need to learn to respect this. Opposing clubs will always fuel this argument as places like Kogarah can have a really intimidating atmosphere when full to its to their advantage to get the game played elsewhere.
I say just let them be and look forward to a real barn stormer on friday

| They are also saying the same about the titans first game in the play offs if they play Brisbane, wanting them to move it to suncorpe becuase they would get double the fans....its stupid...what would be the point in the titans having played all those other games and getting home advantage only to then go and give it up!

Exactly, the clubs know they can make more money by swtiching the tie but they also know the benefit of home advantage. I dont think anyone has the right to tell a team to move a game to get a bigger crowd. Why cant we just be happy that these ties are so popular, its hard to get tickets. Thats a good thing!!!!!

| The decision should be the clubs in the regular season, but in playoffs NRL should twist their arm a bit more with incentives or something. it looks like gallop is on his hands and knees begging them to move their home ground in finals to SFS.

have to say i agree with him on this, the denial of the kids junior passes on "near capacity" games is a tad shameful. not to mention the financial benefits for club and game.
