| Anyone else have this problem last night? Paid £80 for four seats and ended up with the attached picture as a view. Neither the stewards or the RFL reps did anything for us.

| We bought 10 tickets for the Kiwis in Avignon and were given 2 seat numbers for non existent seats in the aisle along with many other people. Wrote to the RL and was THANKED FOR MY OBSERVATION!!
At least we could see the game though.

| Have to say, whilst I expect stewards at most grounds are pretty useless, the ones in the South Stand at The Shay were spectacularly hopeless.

| I have to say i think it was care in the community working there yesterday, I pointed out to various Stewards who had the words " health and Safety " on their back, Why was the south Stand so Rammed, people couldnt get up and down the steps at all and the worst thing, I spilt my beer !!. All they said was they agreed, Not that they would transfer people to the North stand at half time which should have happened.

| Nothing wrong with the Shay. One of the better and bigger grounds in the Champioship, and is better than some SL grounds thats for sure !
I must say though, that view is Shocking, and having one terrace rammed and one not is just plain stupid. I don't think this has anything to do with HRLFC

Having been to Toulouse twice and standing on a grass verge on the side of the pitch I don't think you have the right to comment.
Those seats have been a problem before, so they stopped using them for normal Halifax games. Unfortunately they had no choice for a sell-out.

We had the exact same problem pretty much in the exact same place (wonders if you were the group sat next to us) we saw some 2 people who just turn up in the row in front of us and the steward give them alternative seats, we asked to be moved and he obliged. We ended up sat right next to the media (Jon wells and George Riley were next to us) and a brilliant view. If they didn't move you then that's a disgrace, as it was at least 30-40 metres of the pitch you just couldn't see, add to that almost a Full row of seats not taken just across the steps from us and there's no excuse.

Totally agree, I couldn't see what the edge sections were like but it was completely rammed in the middle, a couple of big groups arrived about three minutes before kick off and blocked the aisles meaning you were trapped. Not the big groups fault, they should have been directed elsewhere by the stewards (who did absolutely nothing but have a chat with each other for the full game) and told that area was full.

The stewards at Headingley for the NZ v PNG game were very picky. Having a go outside the ground at people walking in the road, stopping people from exiting the stand into the South Stand car park at the end of the game because they had tiny amounts of beer left in their pints, and the over-the-top and unnecessary "ring" of stewards around the pitch at the end that discouraged the players from interacting with the fans.
It just wasn't necessary.

reminds me of our visit to belle vue wakefield last season when they brought in the segregation! couldn't see half the pitch as the dugouts with players, officials, physios et all all blocked your view of the game even whilst we stood, not any of their faults, just the way the terracing is at wakefield, too shallow, along the sides and behind the goal

| apparently the reason for it being so crowded yesterday in the south stand (i felt like a sardine in a tin) was that tickets were incorrectly printed as south stand instead of north. thats why there was the big empty section of 300-400 spaces in the north.
Unfortunately the stewards were not smart enough to move 300-400 fans to the other stand so it was safe. I saw around 50 people get moved to the west stand which i believe wasn't on sale, and used for the community dance project.
Surely the person in charge should of made the executive decision to relocate fans; as it wasn't safe in that stand at all!

| After paying a visit to the loos in the South Stand I went back to the top of the stand where my friends were located I walked up the stand and some numpty dropped his shoulder into me his response was "I was rude"
I politely pointed out to the 'gentleman' that he was stood on the yellow walk way so any contact was his fault
I didn't get a response
