Looks a great crowd again!

I'll take wales, think home advantage will be crucial but usa have great experience in the team.

Joseph Paulo looks a decent player. I hope there's a Saints scout in the crowd.

Sorry to be negative but Wales should be a lot better than this.

The whole welsh team having a mare. They're terrible. Offering nothing more than one man charges. The USA are going to win this, and deservedly so.

Given the level if commitment and skill on show by the welsh, you'd have to suggest that Harris won't be coach after the next game.

Have wales actually got a half-back ? I've seen their no 6 but he's rubbish. Is there a no 7 ? The taffs are clueless.

USA are the surprise package of the World Cup so far, I bet the organisers aren't thrilled at the prospect of an Aus-USA quarter final at Wrexham tho, good job many have already bought tickets for the quarter final on the 'buy one get one half price' offer.

so disheartening to see a team with at least some home grown players knocked off by a team almost excusivley of australians.

It just does nothing for the game when the teams that go on 'good runs' are the heritage australian teams.

Not really suprising when you consider they are a heritage australian team. icon_rolleyes.gif

I think Iestyn Harris was getting at this before kick off saying we know 23 of the 24 are Australians. However, Wales wouldn't have beaten a championship team today.

Bottom line is that Wales fielded a team largely made up of sl players, including more than a few from top clubs. But they were rubbish. I don't care where the players come from - they still have to compete if they want to advance. All this heritage stuff is irrelevant. Wales were beaten by a better side on the day, despite being stronger on paper.
