| While this is all very nice, is anyone aware of a Sky super league preview programme coming up ? I'm quite surprised that there hasn't been a team-by-team preparation programme helping to build the excitement for the weekend.
Or did I miss it ?  |

There's a 2012 Review on Sky Sports 4 tonight, that's repeated through the week but no preview

Can't see Wigan being a force this season, not even 4th yet I do see my Giants having a better year with a more dominating pack.

I predict 27 rounds of meaningless low-intensity SL fixtures which shall reward mediocrity throughout. This shall then be followed by 2 rounds of low-intensity play-off fixtures which shall eliminate all those teams who were never genuine SL contenders from the outset. The highest ranked team out of Warrington, Saints, Leeds and Wigan shall then select the lowest ranked team out of Warrington, Saints, Leeds and Wigan at the cringeworthy club call gimmick and the SL season shall then begin in earnest.
Oh, and Leeds will probably finish 5th again during the meaningless regular season.

I'm not such a pessimist and think there'll be 27 rounds of great SL fixtures with some really high-intensity games where quality players and new exciting talent will shine through.
My glass is definitely half full! And I can't wait for the season to start...  |
