It’s extraordinarily positive news that the Italia RFL welcomes with the beginning of the season coming.
One of the most imposing hurdles to cross for the long-term projects is to find a venue that will allow a peaceful and continuous development. The Italia RFL only just in its second year of creation can add this important element to the structure.

I interpreted this to be the RL headquarters, like their own Red Hall.

Yes, it will be the Italia RFL headquarters and also Gladiators Roma trianing/playing ground (probably other rugby league in Rome also)
The crowd against Scotland was closer to low 1000's and one (at the time) member who largely helped with that is on IRFL. |

That's a shame. Good luck to Italy for them anyway. I know that Carlo Napolitano is doing a good job in building a competitive team of both domestic and heritage players for the games and with Vinny Webb in charge of Russia, it should be a good campaign all round. The massive thing with Rugby League is building on the international game - it's the only way we're going to get noticed more and more as a world sport and the grass roots growth in Italy, whatever the organisation, can only be applauded. |
