| As Leigh have cancelled having games televised via our league unilaterally it means that you cannot watch their games anymore unless you attend the game.
This seems counter to the programme that I felt had been put in place for season ticket holders being allowed to watch all games on our league until grounds were back to normal.
This weekend I can watch every team except for Leigh and Huddersfield. Unless I get a ticket to go to Leigh.
As Leigh have not sold their allocation of ticket hey have now being offered to gIant’s fans but only a limited number due to social distancing .
I am not sure what tickets cost last season but now they are£30 each. Cheapest price is £28 for an adult. But tickets have to be sent by post to Giants fans. Commission price is £4.35 for two tickets so £60.35 for two £28 tickets.
Seems like Derek is robbing fans with the left and right hand .
Not sure how Leigh fans who are still wary about going out to games feel about this

| Stop moaning there’s worse things going on in the world. Most people have been cooped up for over a year and would jump at the chance to travel 30 minutes to watch a live game.

Probably making up for the shortfall of sky money.

| Hard to argue with Durham Giant......sadly. I wonder if other clubs (like Huddersfield) who we have prohibited OurLeague from showing their games at Leigh, will return the favour when we have to play at their ground. Considering that 90% of Leigh supporters did not ask for a ST refund last season, and then bought one for this one not knowing how many (and if) games they would be able to watch. As a PR exercise it's a disaster, folk have long memories, and Beaumont is bang out of order. No wonder he's not on social media right now....

| He did it to Wigan as well, until enough people kicked up a fuss that the decision was reversed.

| Completely agree with this post. I'm a leigh fan and I would go to every home game normally. Unfortunately due to work circumstances at the time I couldn't afford a season ticket and now I can't justify paying an extra £10 a game than last year. I wish the club all the best this year but they've Completely priced some fans out. Like somebody has already said, he's taken himself off social media because he didn't want the negativity. I'm not surprised he has done that now.

This is different. Fans (paying) from both clubs have been given the option to attend, so no excuse. I would agree that it's a bit pricey tho.

Leigh v everyone is a good watch this season.
Last time they were in SL they certainly ruffled a few feathers, with some notable scalps.
This time around, putting a squad together at ridiculously short notice, they are still giving it a go.
Perhaps if you weren't so bitter, you could enjoy the rugby on view, if you were allowed to watch
It has to be said that, when away fans aren't supposed to travel, there should be something done to allow some kind of pay per view for away fans (and others) who, unlike you, enjoy their RL.

I'm not bitter at all I hope Leigh do take some notable scalps this season.

| Essentially wasn't the Our League thing set up when fans couldn't attend - and in the situation described, with still tickets available for both home & away supporters, isn't it reasonable that physical attendance takes the priority over a streamed game.

| When Bradford were streaming games online 3 years ago they were hammered on here because it was unthinkable that a club would allow fans to watch away games for free at the expense of the home team selling tickets. I fail to see how this is any different?

Maybe you could ask Mr Davey to subsidise your away ticket in the same way he subsidises your home & Season Tickets ?
It's OK for Huddersfield to charge £3.99 for a dozen Season Tickets but it is a flawed *see £€CK€D* business model & devalues the sport. Alternatively maybe you could ask Mr Davey & Co to give Leigh the other half of our Sky TV money ?
No ?
Thought not.
Looking forward to seeing the army of 90 travelling Giants fans again !
