| I bought Premier last year but lost interest in the NRL because I couldn't keep up with the amount of games I had recorded and found the style quite boring as they tend to just drive and kick until they get into the opp 20. This year I'm considering just picking one team and watching all of their games. Is there any side in the NRL who tend to play particularly exciting rugby? I'm not too bothered whether they win trophies or not, just want to be entertained! Cheers in advance

| A few years ago I would have said the Warriors, but they have been so poor lately.
I'd say either the Eels, the Raiders (Josh Hodgson seems to be able to pull the strings there more effectively than he has managed thus far for England), or the Panthers; Bryce Cartwright is a massive talent.

| On todays showings not Souths or the Bulldogs both looked pretty poor and predictable.
Canberra were a great side to watch last year...probably paid for that style come the grind of the play offs but im hoping they continue playing it this season.

| +1 for Canberra. The right edge of Whitehead, BJ Leilua and Jordan Rapana is so dynamic. Blake Austin is a real jack in a box as well. With Jordan Turner joining they've got 3 English lads this year too.

| Definitely the New Zealand Warriors, starring Shaun "Magic" Johnson. Second is the Sydney Roosters, starring the brilliant Latrell Mitchell, with good zip from Mitchell Pearce and rookie Connor Watson. Third are the Canberra Raiders with the aforementioned right edge and cunning Joshua Hodgson.

| Your about to change your life forever, once you get into the NRL your weekend mornings will never be the same again. This is the best team sport competition in the world to watch bar none.
Personally I like watching Canberra/North Queensland and a little NZ Warriors because they are non Sydney based and you will find out what I mean when you see the little biases in commentary and refereeing. Canberra & Shark park early Sunday morning matches are more often good than not but they are sleep wreckers - Im not a fan of replays. Most importantly of all - be prepared for amazing commentating.

| Cowboys/Raiders didn't disappoint, with some great footy from both sides; sharp attack against excellent defence. Plus one of the bizarrest (is that a word?) final acts I can ever remember seeing in a game.

| How can anyone go past the first half of the Sydney Roosters vs Gold Coast Titans?
It was champagne rugby league from the Roosters, with the brilliant halves combination of Mitchell Pearce and Lukas Keary supplemented by the individual genius of Latrell Mitchell.

| For me my NRL affiliation is as important as my UK one. I have supported Newcastle Knights since I started watching Aussie footy in 1991. Seen them in the flesh twice, once in Newcastle once in the worst World Challenge game at Huddersfield! From five drives and a kick through the magic of the Johns brothers to the collapse of the Club thanks to Nathan Tinkler I will always follow the Knights. Wooden spoon again this year I'm sure but we have more chance of being NRL premiers in the next 10 years than any Super League team today outside the usual suspects!

| The Tigers were a joy to watch vs Souths. The Broncos have been quite entertaining for the last couple of years to be fair - they don't engage in wrestling and consequently a number of their games are free flowing.

Why the need for the dig at SL?

| Get on the Newcastle bandwagon while there is still plenty of room.

| rather than pick ones to watch I tend to just avoid games involving teams that are likely to be less entertaining.
Last year I tended to swerve games involving Newcastle, then possibly Souths, Melbourne and to a certain extent Canterbury & St George. I used to avoid Canberra before they became more exciting last year.
I'd always watch the Tigers & NZ Warriors games. Brisbane and NQ also.
