| As they're referred to as the Tricolours, I bet you're goin 4 the Chooks?
Or are you a Catalan, so maybe you're anti-French?

Your guess is correct. I am a big Roosters fan. Some people even consider me a rooster booster. But that goes back a long way. It was before I knew about the club's French connection.
In case you don't know, the current main Roosters jersey (navy blue with red and white V) which has been around for 60 years, was originally modelled on the French jersey of the 1950s. Similarly the label the Tricolours, which was common until the 1990s, was copied from the French, who had two magnificent tours of Australia in 1951 and 1955. Also the rooster (le coq) was the icon of the French team.
The club has reached a new degree of affinity for France with the signing of French prop Remi Casty. I suspect that next off season many of the club's players will take a vacation in France with their new team mate.

Surprised by this. Thought as a Saints fan you would want Wigan to win, seeing as how fans of both clubs have had this bizarre love in recently. Each of them celebrating each other's wins over other team.

| As Barry Mac said on Boots n all last night, all true RL supporters will be behind the British team.
As for the result, the hype around this game reminds me of when we played the inaugural WCC and every expert and his dog predicted a Manley win. We showed um then and we could very well show um again.

Maybe not the Australian ones
There will always be so called fans who put club rivalries before international ones. I've always supported the English team in a WCC. It's the same people who boo England players because they play for a rival club.
As for the result as much as if like to predict otherwise if we stay within 12 points we've done pretty well IMO. I just hope it won't be a demolition job.

| Even as a Leigh fan I want Wigan to win, representing GB and our competition.
I even went along & supported them the other year against my NRL side St George, which felt odd.

| I'll be cheering for Wigan however can only see
A roosters win. Shaun Wane (who is an outstanding coach and should have had the England role over McNamara) will have them fired up. But can think Roosters to win by 10.

| Odious as Wigan can be, they are representing SL in this game and it's important they put in a good performance to show the Aussies that we are not a pub league as they all seem to insinuate.
