It's narrow minded viewpoints like this that have held the sport back for over 50 years...ffs have you no thoughts about how this could help the sport aside from the (misplaced/unfounded) worry about the speccies?  |

UAE's domestic competition is sponsored by Nissan. I don't even know who Super League's sponsor is. |

If they've got the money, and facilities to stage it then I'd have no problem with it. Although it would bugger up most teams pre season as it would have to be staged in winter.

Temperature starts to drop a bit in Dubai from November and as they are 3 hours ahead British TV would want our games staged at night anyway.
I'm in favour of it if they can prove they will invest the cash and give us a big cash advance for staging it.
If not my more conservative choice would be England and France as joint hosts. Same format as 2013 except have France host games instead of Wales. |
