just found out that richard whiting having had a stint at prop in the saints game has now played in all positions for hull. has any other player managed this (not just for hull) in the modern or any era?

That's nothing, Kevin Sinfield has even refereed a game.

I can see the other positions but I'm suprised a coach picked him at 6,7 or 9. Then again it was Agar after all.

Whiting has been around since the days of Shaun McRae. John Kear actually gave him the squad number 6 in 2006. He's spelled hooker a few times. Can't recall him playing 7 though. I genuinely think his best position is loose though.

He was originally signed as a stand off I think, and I'm pretty sure he won a Young Player of the year award playing there too.

Over the last few years there were a number of calls for him to go back and play in the halves from Hull fans too.

Dane Carlaw (prop) played everywhere too, even on the winger and at centre. But when you have Walters as coach, even the cheerleaders can play in the forwards
