| To add to the bottle throwing incident, on a video sharing site there is a video that shows multiple instances of fighting breaking out, including by and against women after the Hull KR and Salford game. It also shows an unprovoked attack and a person (looks like a Salford fan) being kicked on the ground.
I don't want to run salt in the wound, but there imo absolutely needs of be action taken against both clubs, but especially Hull KR for completely inadequate stewarding in letting the pitch be invaded and then allowing several fights to break out and continue.
Could Hull KR be starting their Champtonship life with point deductions?

| I think a fine is more likely, however, this is the second time in a season that Salford have been involved in major crowd troubles

| Original post seems to be aimed directly at Hull KR, but I'm sure Salford wouldn't of been innocent in it all.
Invading a pitch before the game had finished... After the game had finished and most likely goading the opposition fans is just as bad.
And you think no Salford fan threw a first punch or got into somebodies face. Doubt it.

Post clearly says both clubs. But, yes bit more weighted at Hull KR as it is the home teams responsibility in terms of stewarding. I didn't say anything about who did what.

| There seems to be a fair bit from both sets of fans. But there were hull kr fans hitting each other.
I can understand winning fans invading the pitch. It's wrong but I can understand it.
If the RFL wants to stop it they will have to dock points. Otherwise it starts to become permissive.
I'd dock 2 points of each at the start of next year, with 4 suspended if fans invade the pitch during 2017. Punishment for this year and prevention for next.

I have to say, have just viewed the video on the FB RL banter page and it seems to show a KR fan pushing a Salford fan to the ground, repeatedly punching him and then been arrested by the police. it also appears to show a Salford fans running to punch a KR fan from behind.

| The invading the pitch bit is difficult. Huge release of emotion and fans wanting to celebrate with players. I haven't got a major issue with that in a game of such huge importance. I've seen hundreds of pitch invasions without any trouble, it becomes an issue when the n0bber element in a fan base decide to goad the opposing fans. We (Salford) have a couple of small groups that are basically just d1ckheads. Scrotes that prefer to wind up away fans or abuse our players when we're playing badly. However, we're not the only club who has this issue, I'm not going to single out other clubs but I've seen first hand plenty of similar behaviour, including fans from both ends of the table. Every GF & Magic Weekend there are kick offs in the stands.
It's down to the clubs to identify the clowns and hand out serious bans and then to enforce them. I'd be majority p1ssed off if the RFL start dishing out point deductions, it's the individuals that should be punished, and harshly.

Agreed that the individuals should be banned, but the clubs have a responsibility for fan safely as well and should also see action taken. Some of the videos show some of the worst violence I've seen at an RL game from fans, and I watched in the 80s.

| doesn't help when Koucash is running around the pitch flashing a million pound cheque around inciting fans who have just seen their team relegated. Can you imagine the scenes if Neil Hudgell had done this in similar circumstances at the Kcom !!

| The RFL have to take a load of blame for that. It's an embarrassing gimmick and totally unnecessary. It's like a moth to a flame with Koukash and I see absolutely no sense in why they do it. If they insist on it wait until a few days after the game when emotions have died down a little and organise a press conference at the ground of the winning club. To wave it under the noses of a team that's just lost the MPG is just a very poor show.
Our game is run by tools though so what do we expect?

| You can't blame Koukash or the RFL for fans losing their tempers. It shouldn't matter how much something is waved under the noses of losing fans, there's absolutely no justification for what happened yesterday. Utterly disgusting.

It was a rovers fan on the floor the only reason I know is because I know him as I've said on another thread the fighting was so random as we both have the same colours on fans ending up hitting there own fans
