| For this year at least?
Warrington v Widnes on Good Friday, first versus second, Cheshire Derby, full house expected. Most fans in Super League would love to see this game on TV but won't as we are made to suffer yet another Hull KR v Hull FC game which means naff all to everyone apart from bragging rights in Hull itself. Bottom place versus sixth?
Whilst the Hull clash has potential to be massive it fails year after year to mean anything (this ain't the early eighties anymore).
I fully expect Hull FC/KR fans to come back to me and say "Lets bin Wigan/Saints off SKY too", I really don't mean to insult and in our defence at least both Wigan & Saints have consistently contested around the top of the league for the last twenty five years, including many classic finals.
There was nothing to stop SKY quickly dropping the Hull KR/FC game and quickly re-arranging the Warrington/Widnes game as the 12:45 match.

| Don't recall much dissent when Leeds Bradford got pulled so why not? Then again, Widnes's form probably surprised everyone. And, to an extent, Warrington's too. When the TV games were decided upon this fixture probably promised something of a horror show.

| I wouldn't mind SKY not showing the Hull Derby at all. But, all i would say is, that next Friday is our last game on SKY until the Magic Weekend. Between then and now Saints would of been on 6 times!! So......

| I agree with OP. nothing against the Hull derby, but as a SKY subscriber who has had very little in quality to watch so far, the two teams who are playing something like decent stuff and top 2 to boot playing each other and not on TV is a massive shame imo.

| Hull derbys are not usually high in quality - Getting the result is all important.
The way both teams are playing this year, I can't see the quality improving anytime soon.

It hasn't helped that Leeds have been on Sky 5 times out of 6 thus far and they are on again away at Cas on Thursday.

Indeed, they have contributed more than their fair share to the poop fest so far

| The original post just sums up the modern game, & a reason I am giving up on sky, each club should get a fair share of TV exposure that means us Rovers & Trinity suporters & sponsors deserve our fair share. What we actualy get is the same old teams week after week. & as I will be at work for the derby at least I will be able to see it.

Probably not, most would agree with you. The Hull derby is unlikely to be a classic. Why Sky want to show two or three of them a season God only knows.

| aren't the sky fixtures decided weeks in advance? in that case widnes might not have emerged as a top side at the time of fixture planning, and the game might not have been perceived as highly as it is now
