2 Warrington
3 Hull fc
4 Wigan
5 Saints
6 Catalans

8 Salford
9 Castleford

Losing Ferres will affect Huddersfield, as will Burgess to Wigan unless Charnley pulls his finger out. But then Leeds will miss Sinfield, Peacock and Leuluai.
1. St Helens
2. Wigan
3. Leeds
4. Warrington
5. Huddersfield
6. Catalans
7. Castleford
8. Hull FC
9. Hull KR
10. Salford
11. Widnes
12. Wakefield
I don't think there'll be much between 1-5 or 6-9.

| Think Leeds may have a quiet year because of the large number of key departures, it'll take a bit of time for the new guys to settle in. They'll still be there, or thereabouts, just not top IMO.
Saints look a bit iffy at Fullback depending on Lomax's health and possibly Stand Off depending on how Burns feels like playing. Wigan's centre options concern me, as well as Tierney being full back until Easter. Huddersfield have just lost possibly their best player because of his own stupid actions, but their signings are decent. Not quite sure they'll make the top 4, but should be in the 8.
Annoying as it is, next year could be Wire's year. They've got some quality signings coming in, but it'll be up to Smith to sort out who's playing where as there's a fair bit of positional overlap iirc. Catalans will be pretty good too I reckon. Cas are improving every year, and they could secure a top 4 spot IMO.
Widnes' recruitment has been poorer than Wakefield's imo, which is why I have them coming in last. Hull KR will just miss out on the top 8, as will Salford.
Warrington
Leeds
Wigan
Castleford
Catalans
St Helens
Hull FC
Huddersfield
Hull KR
Salford
Wakefield
Widnes
Leigh to get promoted following the 8s with Widnes going down after losing the 'Million Pound Game' to Wakefield.

| These predictions always make me laugh. In the last six seasons Huddersfield have finished the regular season in 3,3,1,7,4 and 5th.
Yet every year people on here have them finishing in the bottom half of the table and manage to place Hull as top 4 contenders.
Losing Ferres is a blow but he hardly played last season and it will be almost certain they will look to replace him and on top of this two top class overseas players have been brought in.

| For the first time in Radfords reign I am confident that Hull will do something. A trophy is probably out of reach, but it should be a much improved year. And if it isn't then it probably spells the end for Radford. So its win win.

That Radford is still in charge is the reason why I placed Hull outside the Top 8. Hull always seem to try add a few good recruits every year and spend money on them but go for the cheap option in the coaching staff. Doesn't strike me as a coach who'll get them pushing for top 4.....at best squeezing into the top 8.
*likewise for Catalans. As good as Todd Carney is I don't think the Catalans coach is good enough to get them into the top 4.

| We might have imported some great players in from the NRL and are developing our youngsters really effectively but it will take a couple more years for our youngsters to reach their full potential so I would give Hull a little improvement and two massive crossed fingers at actually doing something in the players but ultimately we will fall just short again. Every year I say that Warrington are finally going to win the league but I am not saying it again... I don't think, although they will be round about there.

| I don't see the top 8 teams changing this year, I don't think any team that finished outside the 8 have recruited well enough to remove one of the teams that finished 8th. I just hope Hull can get 2/3 more wins than last year and at least have a chance of finishing in the top 4 after the changes.
Wigan, Leeds and Saints will be top 3, with Warrington, Hull, Catalans, Hudds and Cas fighting for the 4th spot.
