| No chance that Peacock will get a ban.

| Wonder whether Sam Burgess will cop a ban too?
Ran 20/30 yards to involve himself in a dust up, throwing a hayemaker in the process. Sent to the sin bin and incident put on report.
Lets see....

Shame Mcnamara wasn't stood near us, never threw a punch according to him. Not what I saw.
I'd say I was surprised he didn't get a red, but nothing Alibert gave suprised me. Wakey were poor, but he was something else.

| I've not seen the Peacock incident so I won't comment on that but why is it down to the RFL not "having the balls" to take action against any one player?
Why is it not "will the RFL make a balanced judgement based on the evidence provided to them?".
Of course, not that it could be down to people wanting to get their knickers in a twist over a certain player / club, oh no siree.

| Peacock or Burgess getting a one match ban would just mean missing the club game or the game against france. Either way they would still be playing that weekend surely?
Best bet would be give them a fine to get the coffers up on the missed takings from the Challenge Cup semi finals.

| So let me get this straight. Peacock makes a high tackle. Not on report, or sin binned, or sent off, but it gets a thread with idiots expecting action?
Brilliant.

Watched it last night. He jumped into it and it looked pretty silly. He should get 1 match but what the OP is saying is because he is England captain and his next game is for England they wont do it.

| Lee Smith didn't recieve a ban last year for stamping on Phil Bailey's face, coincidentally his next game was the Grand Final. I doubt the RFL will give him more than a strongly worded letter or a slap on the wrist.

Which effectively gives players carte blanche to do whatever and as long as they've got a big game next week, no punishment will be forthcoming.
Can't believe I agree with Rommel, but let's hope the RFL grow some.
