Erm especially in the early part of the season, the one rule for them and one rule for us , whereas we get hammered for penalties and sending offs that no other team gets done for.
For me I’d like to see the both ‘try/no try’ call and 6 again removed from the game. I’d like to see penalties given for players deliberately moving of the mark & off loading after the ref has called held as opposed to being let off. Also any player that stops a game by slowing it down before the ptb by holding their head should go off for a mandatory 5mins for a HIA.
Also think the offside & obstruction rules need tweaking as some good tries have been chalked off for incidents that have had no impact on teams defending when they’ve simply made a poor read or defensive play.
Here we go again more structure changes muted. Whatever you think about the cack handed way we have gone about introducing the IMG suggestions and proposals and handled the thorny subject of promotion and relegation, don't those in charge of our game realise that with sports pundits the media (outside the RL media) potential external investors, broadcasters and the British sports community in general we are becoming a bloody laughing stock. We are looked on as sports poor relations in this country and a sport that has a great product, but a dying game, because of clubs and administrators that simply can't make their mind up. Whatever your views on IMG too, we engage possibly the worlds biggest sports promotion agencies at great cost to the sport we all vote for a structure they propose for at least the medium term and then almost from day one undermine their proposals when they don't meet the owners and the administrators parochial and self interest focussed views. I'm not saying I'm for or against the proposal just that for heavens sake let's stick to the advice we have got at least for a few seasons. All this chopping and changing smacks of the external perception of a northern centric parochial, amateurish game, that our engagement of IMG was intended to eradicate. Almost every club in the game has 6 figure losses yet none of us are surprised by the way those with vested interests in those clubs try to manipulate it to their own ends. We Are in a mess.

Totally agree Pete. How can an owner of a non Super League club determine what happens in Super League. Should have broken away from RFL years ago when it was first muted.
