Also a G.F. & winning the league in 2017, when were Wakey last in a major final? Ah yes, forty three years ago!
I call it my Annus Horribilis, on the Thursday Thatcher got into power, followed by C.C. misery on the Saturday, and people wonder why Wakefield's attendances are poor. |

we've had 4 league home games. played salford and catalan, cas brought hardly any - was a very disappointing attendance from them and KR. so nice try but no. |

You want to check with your people Jools and I'll think you'll find that Salford do infact bring around that number, you of course are not suggesting that Huddersfield brought an extra 2000 to watch Salford than wanted to see Catalan ? |

Salford were at Wakey a couple of games ago and fetched far more than shudds ever bring if that helps  |

That would suggest that you filled a quarter of the stand you occupied. Not even close.
Our fan demographic is very different to yours. Mostly over 65s and kids. Few in the 20-30bracket. Not people who tend to do Friday evening games. Saturday afternoons however are generally well attended.
The main driver however was the Deliveroo festivals have been running on the Saturday afternoon games, whilst there were also bring a buddy tickets given out for those games so yeah, extra folk did come down and make a day of it. |
