The club isn't allowed to due to 3/4 of houses behind the stand, LCC keeps denying it but had no problem with Yorkshire CC building a massive stand. We as fans have been wanting it to be sorted out for years. |

You could always sit/stand in one of the other 3 stands if you're that upset by it. |

The away fans that use the western terrace may well like the ability to stand, especially Hull FC fans, but I have no poll to prove this - but they do tend to be voiciferous and enthusiastic.
It may also be that due to the housing immediately behind the terrace, planning permission is not available to build a roofed stand that may well block their sunlight out all day.... |
