Wakey and Cas are rightly at the bottom of the list but, both, are excellent when there is a decent crowd and are preferable to being in a 20% full ground at The John Smiths but, Huddersfield is a cracking ground.

'"

Now you've contradicted yourself there. icon_biggrin.gif icon_biggrin.gif icon_biggrin.gif

It's entirely personal choice and if one likes to stand, some of these plush all seaters won't float your boat, for those that like to sit a seated stadia is OK but some seats are crammed in such that you have to shuffle past a score of people to go get a tea, or go for a wee. Plus anyone with long legs may have their knees in someone's back all game (like some old time players we remember icon_lol.gif )

Those with a sense of history may love visits to the old grounds, those with a penchant for some atmosphere may love the western terrace at Leeds when the big clubs fans pack it out, and collectively be mean to the home crowd, they may like Odsal for the history, but may hate it for the track that goes around it.

Cas has few seats but when there's a big crowd it's got a great atmosphere you don't get at The John Smiths, but at the John Smiths you can lie down across several seats or you can lie back with your legs over the seat in front and not upset anyone.

Personal choice, so a poll would perhaps sort it out, however the usual suspect will get two or three votes icon_rolleyes.gif icon_rolleyes.gif icon_rolleyes.gif

Yeah Headingley is a dump but it's not the worst ground in Leeds that is Elland Road.

Was that the same game that a lunchbox was thrown?

Quote: Saddened! "Headingly is the worst stadium in Super League bar Castleford and Wakefield. In 2021 you shouldn't be going to a game and standing in the rain.

They should not be playing Super League games there until the away end is fixed nevermind the semi finals, finals, special events and internationals they get.'"

The away fans that use the western terrace may well like the ability to stand, especially Hull FC fans, but I have no poll to prove this - but they do tend to be voiciferous and enthusiastic.

It may also be that due to the housing immediately behind the terrace, planning permission is not available to build a roofed stand that may well block their sunlight out all day....

As has already been said above, this is the case.
