They definitely did, you only have to look at which games were getting called off to see that. It was Catalans or Saints games most of the time. The vast number of postponements was also a reflection of how unprofessional the staff and players are at some clubs. The bigger, better run clubs barely had any games called off, but the usual tinpot Yorkshire sides who've held the competition back since it's inception in 1996 clearly didn't act as professionally as they should.
