Growing the game is not just about new rules, that will hopefully lead to the game itself more easy to understand for non ex players/watchers. The whole game day concept must be more entertaining to compete with the other distraction our youngsters have. We in the RL game like to shout about 'The Rugby League Family'. Well, if that is true, we must encourage families, in order to grow he game at all levels. That starts in getting more kids into Community Clubs by making the top levels of the game more fun and interesting for families. |

Alternatively & as Oasis say "Roll with it" & as it's not a Super League fixture Sky have no say, si if they want the subscriptions & advertising revenue they cough up large like they do for the 100 cricket.!!!
We can't let lack of ambition & 8@11$ kill the game through lack of forward momentum !!!

I'm game
[i[sizeIF[/size[/i.....you can get the SL clubs to release players 3 TIMES mid season, for a game that might injure them or possible right them off for the season
and
[size IF[/size you can convince apathetic "only if it's on my season ticket mate" Rugby League fans to fork out even a fiver and bus fare
and
[sizeIF[/size you can convince the BBC or ITV to show it prime time straight after a soap opera
then maybe...just maybe, we'd try it for a year before caving in and reverting to Magic as a pseudo way to grow the games exposure |

What don't you understand? People who are learning the game, still need to enjoy the game and the day out. This is 2021, not 1971. We are competing with every other family attraction and/or distraction.

This could also be used as a measure for International selection etc
Nothing wrong with the concept but, it needs fitting into the fixture calendar, rather than squeezed in at the last minute.
Just for novelty, each side could have, say, 2 wild card selections.
