He is awful, I really struggle to watch games with his commentary. Bring back Rod Studd

Thaler has disallowed 3/4 tries now for Hull in the last couple of weeks - 3 of which should have been given IMO.

Ball landed further forward than the place it was touched, it is unlucky because the Hull player slows it down by the force of contact, but ball did go forward after touching his hand.

Right decision.

And this is the key point, you've got fans and Sky commentators saying it's the wrong decision, but it's not. It's just down to lack of awareness of the subtly of the laws of the game. As pointed out above, the knock on law is the ball going towards the opposition try line off a hand or arm, which the video clearly shows happened. Yes, the player slowed it down by attempting to push the ball back and does change it's trajectory (which is what gave it up as a knock on), but the ball still travelled towards to the try line off his hand, so harsh on Hull, but the correct decision by the laws of the game.

Be good if Sky ex-players knew this and could help explain things - and no, I don't want Stuart Cummings back, but at least it would have helped in this situation!

The majority of fans who comment on a decision are annoyed because it was given against them, the props in the commentary box are clueless.
It does need a knowledgeable person to analyse the decisions but after the game rather than during. Cummings was OK when he first did the job but he evolved into being the main man and his ego took over.
