IMO the legal challenge would be the potential SHAFTING of Leigh. Numerous clubs applied and a panel chose, events regarding covid and non feds availability was an unknown the money wasn’t - Derek will have no issues with any of that. THE issue, that the min wagers on here seem to have missed, is the club who was chosen should not got penalised by helping out SL. This becomes a distinct possibility should we move to two tens in 2023, thus penalising Leigh for talking the poisoned chalice by not allowing access to the SL1 in 2023 - we are cashed up and have been recruiting strongly to spend at full cap whether in a 14 team SL or to win promotion to SL1, this money is wasted if the T8 in the championship end up in SL2 - hope the uneducated grasp this
