Reading with interest that Sale Sharks, who were battling for a play off spot in the RU Premiership, have had to postpone their last fixture of the regular season, resulting in their opposition being awarded a 20 - 0 victory and also preventing Sale from claiming a top 4 spot.
This seems harsh on Sale.
RL has gone with win percentage, but, our cousins in RU have taken a totally different view, deeming that because Sale couldn't complete their fixture, they should be penalised.
Which sport has got this one right League or Union
Also, with this type of punishment, would clubs be more likely to take some additional risk with their players and those of the opposition side.
