"It's the refs fault again". Biggest moaning whingers in RL.: |
|
| Probably the most interesting game of the evening this. If Hull play at their best they'll have little problem seeing off Wakey but FC have been poor this season (opening game apart) and confidence looks shot so if they play anything like their usual this season Wakefield have more than a decent chance particulary with it being at the pit and with Johnstone getting back to his form. (terrific try against Cas)
Predictable, though, is the blame game for this match has already started over on the Wakey board with James Childs getting hammered days before the game has even kicked-off. Must be somekind of record, even for them.
As for Hull, Radford is already seriously feeling the heat and it'll be cranked up further with a defeat tonight to average opposition. Whilst certainly not a GF winning side, they really should be doing better with the quality they have in their squad.

Oh my goodness, it is true.
Joking, yeah?
3 for a normal win, 2 for a GP win, 1 for a GP loss, 0 for a defeat. That’d be fiddly and unnecessary, but at least the incentives are properly aligned.
This is the stupidest thing I’ve seen since: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Barbados_4–2_Grenada_(1994_Caribbean_Cup_qualification)

| An excellent game of RL and Sneyd's boot proved the difference (again).
Trinity out scrored FC 5 tries to 4 but half of the width of the post cost them victory, with Jowitt's effort coming back of the upright.
Great game of RL though

| I thought it was an excellent game of rugby too, very entertaining and a game of two halves.
I don’t get the negativity from Hull fans and other fans mocking...they’ve assembled a quality side with some top drawer signings...Josh Jones in particular is a cracking player...nothing is won and lost in these early rounds though other than two points.
Hull will be there challenging without question...it’s early days and players still settling in etc...anyone who doesn’t think they’ll be challenging is watching a different sport to me...
Thought we gave it a really good go second half...played some of the best stuff I’ve seen for a while...if we can maintain a healthy squad and not suffer the horrendous injuries we did last year we’ll go alright!
Real shame we’re not playing the same rules as other leagues with the point for a draw...don’t think any team after 80 minutes like that deserve to come away with nothing...

| In regards to this game I've no issue with losing it, don't get me wrong it would've been sweet if Jowitt nailed the kick but in all honesty we had no right to be in the position we were in.
We have had some ridiculous calls over the years but it's the same for every club.
