Quote Bigboff="Bigboff"After Cas came out in the second half Wakey knew they couldn't compete, trying to slow the better side down resulting in penalties, the ref had no choice to pull the spoiling tactics.
Holmes was in full flight and obstructed in a 50-50 cance of a score...it deserved a sin bin minimum.
Even without the bins our attitude in the second half would of still resulted in the same end result.'"
Who are you, Mystic chuffing Meg ??
Yes, Cas looked well up for the second half and yes, they would have very likely won the game.
However, the 12 points scored when Trinity went down to 12 men, plus the disruption of losing Arundel and Hampshire playing most of the game with a fractured cheekbone didn't help.
No question that Cas were the better side in the second half or, that Trinity had done well to go in at HT with a one point advantage, given the caning from Child, who seemed to lose the plot himself as the second half went on.
Some of the penalties given to Trinity in the last 5/10 minutes were a joke but I presume that he was trying to level up the penalty count
