| Quote Towns88="Towns88"Personally I was very happy with the George griffin signing, he finished the season v well for Salford as did dudson, olpherts was nowhere near the side ! Powell has got him playing well so far, think he likes a winger that carries strongly and gets you on the front foot early.'"
Nothing against the lad - he definitely runs the ball out well but lacks pace, coughed up far too many errors for us and didn’t score often enough. He looked good tonight but he had his moments for us as well.
As for Clarke - opinions are fine but it’s just a fact that he couldn’t get in the team in the latter part of the season (you know the bit where we actually looked good). Our season changed when he was dropped and Inu went on the wing.
Decent player Griffin. Makes some silly errors when he puts himself under pressure and tends to make them in clusters but puts the effort in week in week out.

Just another troll/WUM.
The first sin binning killed the game for Wakefield.
It's fair to say that the 12 points scored in that period, changed the game.

Tbf to him, he's sharing it out amongst us and the wire fans, he's a bit confused though he keeps calling them wolfs instead of wolves, and he also mentioned us as the wildcats, now I know he's not trying to wind us up so maybe he's on something

| Said it last week and still stand by it. Wakey can only compete with the.top teams when the conditions are poor and it drags other teams down to their level

Trinity probably should have won then. Windy night, soft ground, which was the same as last week.
In fact, it was probably worse last night

| I see there's already the predictable thread on the Wakefield board blaming the ref for last night's loss.
Honestly, do Wakey EVER get beat fair and square?? Cas were comfortably the better side last night and deserved the points, nothing to do with the official. Wakefield offered very little in attack after half time, the better side won.

Not to mention a predictable post from a sad, lonely Widnes troll that still hasn't got over Trinity being significantly better than his side

After Cas came out in the second half Wakey knew they couldn't compete, trying to slow the better side down resulting in penalties, the ref had no choice to pull the spoiling tactics.
Holmes was in full flight and obstructed in a 50-50 chance of a score...it deserved a sin bin minimum.
Even without the bins our attitude in the second half would of still resulted in the same end result.
