And they will reap what they sow on that front. They are morally bankrupt, and that’s why their culture as an organisation and team is dreadful, and that’s why, regardless of how much they spend and who they sign, they’re going nowhere fast in terms of success.

It's strange how Union dont want him, the NRL wont touch with a barge pole and yet, Catalan are happy to take him on.
If he'd posted the same things about a different group say, blacks or Jews etc, there would have been an international outcry and rightly so.
The analogy against other "criminals" in our game is a little different.
In the modern world, you just cannot say the kind of stuff that he tweeted, especially if you are a public figure. |

Just look at the characters who come into the sport. We've had wife beaters ffs. Their was no pitchforks out demanding they not be allowed to play.
If people don't want Izzy in the game so be it but don't upset about that yet criminal convictions are ok.
Robert Lui was released from the Tigers for beating up his wife and then made SL his home? You cool with that? |

Great signing for Catalan. Players have done lot worse stuff then him and have been welcome to play.
Izzy should be allowed to play in Super League.
You can't allow players who have beat up there wives or girlfriends to play while refusing Izzy.
The RFL knew they could not stop this.

NRL clubs did want him just the NRL wouldn't register him. |

Lui didn't say everyone should beat their wife, or that all women deserve a beating (which is, in effect, what Folau said about homosexuals)
I have asked this question before, how is hitting a woman any worse than hitting a man?, violence is violence.
using a phrase like "you cool with that" is letting that mask slip. |
