Of course they are not. But in this day and age, I'm struggling to see why Ben would want to hold that information back? It'll soon be public knowledge anyway as people talk and it's always better to talk about things and set the scene yourself?

Whatever it is, hope he's able to get back to full health.

Why should it? I fully respect his right to privacy on this, but it's definitely an unusual step to take these days. Unfortunately given the nature of the world today it's already being discussed and there is no control over the truth in that.

Does it really matter what the condition is? He want's to keep it private for the time being. He could be looking to identify as a woman and register for the Wakefield Women's side and it wouldn't be of anyone's business here until he decides whether or not to put it in the public domain
