Ok, my first wish is for the S.L. whipping boy rabble Wakefield to actually get to the final of a major competition, something that hasn’t happened for forty years! If someone had said to me all those years ago that I wouldn’t replicate the experience again, I would have laughed them off the train.

Secondly I would like St Helens to fail to reach the play-offs (you did say wishes) just to watch their over-privileged supporters go into meltdown.

Finally, I would like Catalans & Toronto to be scrapping it out at the bottom of the division with the French going down after another abject performance, this time in West Hull.

1. Warrington to finally win the Grand Final.
2. Toronto to do well, despite the weird hatred of them.
3. Bennett to be replaced by an English coach who actually picks on form and not reputation.

Huddersfield, Wakefield and Salford to be replaced with New York, Ottawa and Toulouse

My wish list would undoubtedly be a huge boost for the game within the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, and especially internationally.

My 3: (unlikely as no. 1 may seem)

1) England beat Australia at least once
2) Leigh Centurions continue to be a major force in the championship.
3) Championship & League 1 clubs negotiate their own TV deal for the 2021 season, as Sky own the rights, but hardly show any championship games, and none from League 1.
