Balding, love her or hate her, is one of sports most high profile commentators and is an excellent appointment, IMO significantly better than Adams.
She will bring some profile to the game, something which we are desperately in need of and may also encourage some new blood to the game in terms of the sports viewing audience.

So does anyone know where the opening poster on this thread got to? Unable to back up their half formed (probably fully formed in their case tbh) thoughts or just a troll?

He/She/It was very active in SinBin topics in support of right wing parties...... Even strated a I told you so thread after boris bashed corbyn and was quick to call out anyone who disagreed as a leftie7snowflake/trotskyte/terrorist sympathiser or troll....... I find it hard to give any creedence to his/her/its stance in the OP.

In this instance, I think you'll find it hard to discover many people who think the CB being appointed to this role is anything other than a positive step if a somewhat "ceremonial" one
